The study was carried out to assess the current state of family policies. The analysis investigates family policies regarding its present fields of action: time, family-related monetary benefits, infrastructure costs. The commission of independent experts proposes a strategic realignment of family policies, in which this is supplemented by the aspects of an active equal opportunities policy and adaequate communicative strategies. Only a consistent consideration of the interplay of these five areas will enable a consistent and sustainable family policy.
