From May 8 to 10, Ilya Kashnitsky from the Interdisciplinary Centre on Population Dynamics will be joining our team to intensify cooperation on regional mortality differences in Europe.
Ilya Kashnitsky is an Assistant Professor of demography at the Interdisciplinary Centre on Population Dynamics (CPop), University of Southern Denmark, Odense. He received his PhD in Demography from the University of Groningen in 2020. His research focuses on regional variations in population age structures, their dynamics and the demographic processes shaping them.
During his stay at BiB, he will be working with our team to intensify cooperation in the field of regional mortality differences across Europe.
