The 6th HMD Symposium, which marks the 20th anniversary of the launch of the Human Mortality Database, will take place at INED in Paris, France, from 16–18 June 2022. The REDIM team will present the latest research results of their ongoing work.
The event is composed of a two-day symposium followed by a one-day seminar (‘satellite meeting’). Under the motto of “Old and New Challenges to Longevity Prospects”, the purpose of the symposium is to present and promote cutting-edge research on mortality and survival, with a special focus on newly emerging challenges like COVID-19, and global and national longevity prospects in times of uncertainty. The satellite meeting is dedicated to the study of subnational mortality.
