Integration Monitoring
Content and Objectives
In order to be able to further develop measures for the integration of people with migration backgrounds accurately, a solid scientific basis and evidence-based policy advice that builds on it are needed. In cooperation with the Deutsches Zentrum für Integrations- und Migrationsforschung (DeZIM), the BiB is therefore preparing the first report on indicator-based integration monitoring. Above all, the BiB is contributing its expertise in evaluating the microcensus. The aim of the monitoring is both to update the results of the Federal reports from 2009 and 2011 and to create a basis for their further development.
