Demografische Forschung Aus Erster Hand
This newsletter presents demographic studies which are relevant for Germany and/or Austria and have already undergone a peer review process.
The newsletter Demografische Forschung Aus Erster Hand [First Hand Demographic Research] is published by the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research (MPIDR) in cooperation with the Federal Institute for Population Research (BiB), the Vienna Institute of Demography (VID), the Wittgenstein Centre for Demography and Global Human Capital and the Rostock Centre for the Study of Demographic Change.
With this publication, the publishers want to intensify the dialogue between research and the public. The newsletter addresses journalists, politicians and interested people from neighbouring disciplines. It presents studies which are relevant for Germany and/or Austria and have undergone a peer review process. Primarily, studies which have been conducted by researchers based at the involved institutions are considered.
It appears four times a year both online and as a print version. The current newsletter as well as all previous issues can be downloaded for free as PDF files from the official website (see the link below). There is also the possibility to subscribe to the e-mail newsletter. The publication is in German.
